Auction Night - Sequence of Events

1.Setup tables with items, place settings and buffet.
2.Number all items and list them in the bidding order (use a white board or easel where everyone can see).
3.View items to be bid on.
4.Enjoy your dinner.
5.After dinner begin the evenings main event - auctioning the items.
6.After the main auction draw the raffle ticket winners for center pieces.
7.The final event of the evening – draw the raffle winner who will chose the charity to receive the evenings contributions.
8.Clean-Up.

Further suggestions to make the evening special;

•Trophies – biggest monetary increase, raffle winners.
•Themes for the evening – 50’s style, cowboys, etc.
•Children’s participation – make the event more fun for the young by increasing the amount they have available to bid with by sharing some of your money in a predetermined fashion.
